Served: in garrison at David's Island, Sep. 30 to Nov. 1, 1871, — in Chicago, Ill., Nov. 3, 1871, to May 3, 1872; on frontier duty at Beaver City, Utah, May 25, 1872, to Nov. 7, 1873 (on escort duty with (First Lieut., 8th Infantry, July 26, 1880) 1882, — Regimental Quartermaster, Mar. 1, 1882, to Feb. 29, 1884, — and Angel Island, Cal. (leave of absence, July 20 to Oct. 19, 1883), to Mar. 10, 1884; at the Military Academy as Asst. Professor of Natural and Experimental Philosophy, to Oct. 30, 1889; and on sick leave of absence, to –––––. Vol. IV Military History. —
