(in charge of Telegraph Lines), to July 16, 1881; on leave of absence, to Jan. 16, 1882; in garrison at Ft. McHenry, Md., to Mar. 25, 1882; and on leave of absence, to June 1, 1882.

Resigned, June 1, 1882.
