Born Jan. 24, 1854, Albuquerque, NM.a Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1871, to June 16, 1875, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Second Lieut., 7th Cavalry, June 16, 1875. Served: joining regiment in Dakota, Aug. 16 to Oct. 29, 1875, — Ft. Rice, Dak., to May, 1876, — and on Sioux Expedition, to June 25, 1876, when, in the Massacre on Little Big Horn River, Mon., he was Killed, June 25, 1876: Aged 22. Obituary notice in Annual Report, Association of Graduates, for 1877.º Buried, Custer National Cemetery, Crow Agency, MT. |
