Died, Aug. 10, 1836, at Canton, Twiggs County, Ky.:​b Aged 36.


Thayer's Notes:

a Niles' Weekly Register, Sep. 1, 1821, p8, reports a notice from the Adjutant-General's office, Aug. 16th, that Burdine was promoted to Second Lieutenant on July 6.

b Canton, KY is now in Trigg County, which was formed in 1820 and named after a Revolutionary War hero. "Twiggs" is almost certainly a mistake in the Register.
