Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1873, to June 14, 1877, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to

Second Lieut., 8th Cavalry, June 15, 1877.

Served: on leave of absence and awaiting orders, June 15, 1877 to Jan. 17, 1878; and on frontier duty at San Elizario, Tex., Jan. 17 to Feb., 1878, — and Ysleta, Tex., to May 23, 1878; and on leave of absence, May 23 to June 1, 1878.

Resigned, June 1, 1878.

Civil History. — Counselor at Law, 1880‑81.

Died, Sep. 1, 1881, at Bay View, Mas.: Aged 26.
