Served: on leave of absence, awaiting orders, and joining company, June 15, 1877, to Jan. 8, 1878; and on frontier duty at Camp Baker, (Second Lieut., 7th Infantry, Aug. 20, 1877) Mon., Jan. 8 to Aug. 24, 1878, — Carroll, Mon., to Oct. 8, 1878, — Camp Baker, Mon., to Dec. 29, 1878, — Camp Baker, Mon.,º Dec. 30, 1878, to Jan., 1879, — Ft. Logan, Mon., to June 12, 1879, — and Ft. Benton, Mon., to June 30, 1879. Died, June 30, 1879, at Ft. Benton, Mon.: Aged 23.
