Charles Marim Carrow: Born in 1853, Phoenixville, PA.a Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, Sep. 1, 1874, to June 13, 1878, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Additional Second Lieut., 7th Cavalry, June 14, 1878. Second Lieut., 7th Cavalry, June 28, 1878. Served: on frontier duty at Ft. Lincoln, Dak., Sep. 29, 1878, to Jan. 8, 1879; and on sick leave of absence, to May 19, 1879. Died, May 19, 1879, at St. Louis, Mo.: Aged 26. See Annual Association of Graduates, U. S. M. A., 1879, for an obituary notice.º Buried, Black Rock Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. |
