Born in 1855.a Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1875, to June 13, 1879, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Second Lieut., 7th Cavalry, June 13, 1879. Served: on leave of absence, Oct. 1 to Nov. 1, 1879; on sick leave, to Mar. 15, 1880, and on leave of absence, to Mar. 21, 1880; on frontier duty at Ft. A. Lincoln, Dak., to June 1, 1880, — and guarding construction parties of the Northern Pacific Railroad, to Sep. 22, 1880; and of sick leave of absence, to Jan. 26, 1881. Died, Jan. 26, 1881, at St. Louis, Mo.: Aged 25. Obituary notice in Annual Report, Association of Graduates, for 1881.º |
