Served: on frontier duty at Ft. Brown, Tex., Oct. 5, 1881, to Nov. 7, 1881, — Ft. Dodge, Kan., to June 6, 1882, — Ft. Reno, I. T., to May 5, 1885 (on leave of absence, to July 9, 1885), — and Ft. Maginnis, Mon., to Sep. 18, 1887; and on leave of absence, to Jan. 18, 1888.

Resigned, Jan. 18, 1888.
