— Ft. Howard, Wis., 1828‑36 (Quartermaster duty, 1830‑34), — Ft. Dearborn,

(Asst. Quartermaster, Oct. 15, 1830, to Jan. 28, 1834)

Ill., 1836, — and Ft. Howard, Wis., 1836‑37; on Recruiting service,

(Captain, 5th Infantry, Apr. 1, 1836)
