Served: on frontier duty at Ft. Bridger, Wy., Sep. 30, 1886, to July 15, 1889; and on leave of absence, to Sep. 14, 1889. Resigned, Sep. 14, 1889. Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Vol. IV Civil History. — Unknown, — residence, Alameda, Cal. Vol. V Civil History. — Lived on his ranch in Napa, Cal., from 1889 to 1891; served in Customs House, Post office and Railway Mail Service until 1905; on his ranch in California, till Dec. 12, 1907. Died Dec. 12, 1907, at Napa, Cal.: Aged 45. Buried, Tulocay Cemetery, Napa, CA. |
