Served: on frontier duty at Ft. Buford, N. D., Oct. 2, 1886, to –––––. Vol. IV Military History. — Served: As 2d Lieutenant, 15th Infantry, at Fort Sheridan, Ill., from Aug. 14, 1890 to Oct. 30, 1893. — In charge of Indian prisoners captured at Wounded Knee from Jan. 27 to March 22, 1891. — In command of camp at Lake Geneva, Wis., Aug., 1893. (First Lieut. of Infantry, 15th Infantry, Oct. 30, 1893) (Transferred to 2d Infantry, Dec. 13, 1893) — Served at Fort Omaha, Neb., until July 3, 1894. Resigned, July 3, 1894. Civil History. — Lawyer, Goldman, Ark. — Since 1894 he has been engaged in the newspaper business as editor of a paper; in the real estate business; and in the study of law. — Captain Arkansas State Guards since Dec. 17, 1897. Vol. V Civil History. — Unknown. Vol. VI (Born March –––, 1864.) Military History. — First Lieut., 15th Infantry, Oct. 30, 1893 Transferred to 2d Infantry, Dec. 13, 1893 Resigned, July 3, 1894 Civil History. — Lawyer at Goldman, Ark.; editor of paper; in real estate business. Died, Jan. 10, 1916, at Stuttgart, Ark.: Aged 51 Buried, De Witt Cemetery, De Witt, AR. |
