Military History. — Reëntered the service as (Major and Surgeon, Territorial Regiment, June 27, 1898) Served: With regiment at Lexington, Ky., to Nov., 1898; at Albany, Ga., to Feb., 1899, when he was (Honorably mustered out of Volunteer Service, Feb. 15, 1899) Vol. V Civil History. — Physician and surgeon, Amity, Ark. Vol. VI (William Pitt Baker, Born Nov. 1, 1863.) Military History. — Second Lieut., 10th Infantry, June 12, 1887. Resigned, Feb. 16, 1889. Major and Surgeon, Territorial Regiment, June 27, 1898. Honorably Mustered Out, Feb. 15, 1899. In Philippines, Captain and Volunteer Surgeon, afterwards Chief Med. Div. Bu. Constabulary, 1900‑1906. Major of Ordnance, National Guard of Arkansas, Sept. 26, 1917. Assigned to 4th Division, but was found physically disqualified for overseas service and was Honorably Discharged, May 6, 1918. Captain, Medical Corps, U. S. A., Sept. 4, 1918. Again found physically disqualified and Honorably Discharged, Dec. 3, 1918.
