Second Lieut., 1st Artillery, July 1, 1824. Served: at the Military Academy, 1824‑26, as Asst. Professor of Mathematics, Aug. 29, to Nov. 4, 1824, — and Asst. Professor of Chemistry, Mineralogy, and Geology Nov. 4, 1824, to Mar. 26, 1826; in garrison at Ft. Independence, Mas., 1826‑27; and on Commissary duty, 1827. Dismissed, Feb. 12, 1828, for Ungentlemanly Conduct. Civil History. — Surveyor and Teacher, near Milford, N. H., 1828‑32. Counselor at Law, Milford, N. H., 1832‑35. Accidentally Killed, June 29, 1835, at Milford, N. H.: Aged 34. |
