Second Lieut. of Artillery, 5th Artillery, June 12, 1895) p586 Served: In garrison at Presidio of San Francisco, Cal., Sept. 30, 1895 (Second Lieut. of Artillery, 2d Artillery, Nov. 26, 1895) (Transferred to 5th Artillery, Jan. 30, 1896) to Oct. 13, 1896; in garrison at Ft. Wadsworth, N. Y., Oct. 20, 1896 to Feb. 18, 1898; in camp at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook, N. J., from Feb. 18 to Nov. 22, 1898; in garrison at Ft. Wadsworth, N. Y., Nov. 22, 1898 to ––––– (First Lieut. of Artillery, 5th Artillery, March 2, 1899) Vol. V Military History. — Served: In garrison at Ft. Wadsworth, N. Y., Nov. 22, 1898 to Dec. 15, 1899; on recruiting service at Hartford, Conn., March 19, 1899 to (Captain, Artillery Corps, July 1, 1901) Aug. 15, 1901 and at Milwaukee, Wis., to March 15, 1902; commanding company at Moro Barracks, Santiago, Cuba, from April 21, 1902 to May, 1903; sick at Fort Bayard, N. M., May 21, 1903 to March 7, 1905; on recruiting service at Denver, Col., to Oct. 16, 1906. (Retired, Oct. 16, 1906) Died at Denver, Colo., April 6, 1908: Aged 37.
