A., from June 17, 1891, to June 12, 1895, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to (Second Lieut. of Infantry, 24th Infantry, June 12, 1895) Served: At Fort Bayard, N. M., Oct. 1 to Dec., 1895; Fort Huachuca, Ariz., to March, 1896; Fort Grant, Ariz., to June, 1896; Fort Bayard, N. M., to Oct., 1896; Fort Douglas, Utah, Oct., 1896 to April p596 20, 1898. — At Tampa, Fla., to June, 1898, and in the campaign against Santiago, Cuba, until mortally wounded in the assault on San Juan Hill, Cuba, July 1, 1898.
Died July 2, 1898,
