S., Nashville, Ten., special recruiting service, May 6 to June 6, 1898; with company, Tampa, Fla., June 9 to 14, 1898; in the campaign of Santiago de Cuba, June 23 to Aug. 20, 1898; Camp Wikoff, Montauk Point, L. I., Aug. 27 to Sept. 15, 1898; assistant to Chief Quartermaster, Camp Wikoff, L. I., N. Y., Sept. 15 to Oct. 7, 1898; with company, Camp Wikoff, Oct. 7 to 14, 1898; Fort Wayne, Detroit, Mich., Oct. 16 to 30, 1898; D. S. as Aide-de‑camp to Brigadier-General G. S. Carpenter, U. S.
