on sick leave to May, 1898; joined 1st Infantry at Tampa, Fla., May 20, 1898; in command of company at Tampa to June 10, 1898; ordered to general hospital, Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Ga., June 9, 1898; at Fort McPherson, and on sick leave at El Paso and at Fort Bliss, Tex., to Dec. 23, 1898.

Died, Dec. 23, 1898, at Fort Bliss, Tex.: Aged 23.
