Served: in garrison at Baton Rouge, La., 1834‑35, — New Orleans, La., 1835, — and Baton Rouge, La., 1835. Resigned, June 11, 1835. Civil History. — Civil Engineer, 1835‑41. Asst. Engineer of Illinois and Michigan Canal, 1837‑39. Clerk of Circuit Court, Richmond, Va., 1841‑59. Died, Dec. 7, 1859, at Richmond, Va.: Aged 47. |
