(First Lieut., 2d Artillery, Dec. 31, 1837)

Florida War, 1838; in the Cherokee Nation, 1838, while transferring Indians to the West; and on the Northern Frontier during Canada Border Disturbances, at Cleveland, O., 1838, — Ft. Niagara, N. Y., 1838‑39.

Died, Apr. 18, 1839, at Ft. Niagara, N. Y.: Aged 27.
