Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1833, p726 to July 1, 1838, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Second Lieut., 6th Infantry, July 1, 1838. Served in the Florida War, 1838‑39, being engaged against the Seminole Indians, by whom, while scouting near Ft. Frank Brooke, he was Killed, May 2, 1839: Aged 23. Buried, St. Augustine National Cemetery, St. Augustine, FL. |
