1	Joseph G. Swift: the first graduate of the Academy and its second Superintendent, a Chief Engineer of the Army whose civilian career was in railroads.
2	Simon M. Levy: very little about him is known; he served in the Army for three years after graduating, then resigned and died shortly after.
