Malum Punicum, ad: the street on the Quirinal in Region VI, in which stood the house where Domitian was born (Suet. Dom. 1; Not.), the site of the later Templum Gentis Flaviae (q.v.). This street is supposed to have corresponded in general with the Via delle Quattro Fontane (RhM 1894, 405, 437; BC 1889, 383).
