[A high-relief stone sculpture of a crowned king seated on a throne with twisted columnar arms; he is flanked by a crescent moon on his right and a five-pointed star on his left, and the scene is encircled in a medallion. Outside the medallion, to his right a woman breast-feeding a baby, and to his left a robed cleric. Two small heads stare out at us from the squinch-like spaces battle and on either side of the medallion. The scene represents Christ in Majesty and forms the tympanum of the main door of the cathedral church of S. Rufino in Assisi, Umbria (central Italy).]
