You should not get the idea this sampler shows all, or even most, of the churches in Cesi and its surrounding territory. The most important missing church is the Romanesque abbey of S. Erasmo several kilometers ENE of Cesi and some 300 meters further up the mountain; I've seen it, and should eventually have a page on it, I hope. But there are other little churches, including a small chapel with frescoes that I walked by on its road in the near-darkness of sunset and no film in my camera. . . .
