Short URL for this page:
— and the page you just came from is one of them.
I will not provide any translation, into any language, of any passage of Quintus Curtius' Histories of Alexander, which are commonly used as homework for beginning Latin students. You should do your own homework, and cheating, in addition to being dishonorable, prevents you from learning.
You may have landed on part of a book transcription: the odds are that the page will never be translated. You may have landed on an unreleased page (i.e., under construction) covering Italy, where the text is being written first in Italian — a temporary situation, since the base language of the site is English. In either case, if you need to know quickly what the foreign-language page says, but reliably — GoogleTranslate is not that good yet — drop me a line. If the page is short, I will probably put a translated page online. Translation, however, is a slow process: if the page is long, I will probably not translate the entire page, but instead, will help you extract from it the information you need.
For any page where the header includes a British, Australian or American flag:
|if it's greyed out
|it will send you here.
|if it's in full color
|the page is available in English.
Tip: on pages in English, I'm starting to mark links to pages in some other language with a little flag to indicate the language. This can be useful to you if more than one other language is available, since you can click on the version you will best be able to read.
Images with borders lead to more information.
The thicker the border, the more information. (Details here.)
