The National Roman Museum occupies much of the eastern portion of the baths, but, even in the section that is illustrated, only one room and the cloistered garden, with its fragments of sculpture, are open. Saint Mary of the Angels occupies the frigidarium of the baths, its eight granite columns still standing in the transept of the church.
